For more than 50 years, Tri-State Marine has been the hallmark of leading boat dealers in the area — proudly serving the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Placing particular pride in having one of the largest indoor boat showrooms in the United States where you can often find more than 30 Grady-White, Parker Offshore, and Sea Pro boats on display.

Before partnering with us in 2017, Tri-State Marine's website was on the tail-end of a one year redesign. The site was built on a cookie-cutter template that didn't feature its 16,000 sq. ft. indoor showroom and more importantly, failed to do its job–provide invaluable leads to its Sales staff.

We needed the site to convey its full breadth of services and brands, showcase the Nation's largest indoor boat showroom, and provide its visitors a boat inventory that they can easily browse and contact a Sales Advisor.

Performance

Within a month of launching the new website, it had generated more leads than its predecessor did in a year. We continued iterating and improving the site throughout 2018 and saw solid month-over-month growth in visitors, leads, and conversions. 2019 marked one of Tri-State Marine's best years with website sessions up 27% and contacts up 24%.

2020 brought Covid-19 and uncertainty into our lives. Working together, we pivoted our strategy, implemented new means of lead generations, and by the end of the year saw a massive increase of 54% in website sessions and a 73% increase in contacts over 2019 making 2020 the best year in Tri-State Marine's history.

2021 and 2022 both saw a year-over-year increase as we continue to work together and improve the website.

Logo & Branding

Since its inception in 1965, Tri-State Marine's logo had undergone many revisions, but little thought was put into it. In 2020, Tri-State Marine saw a new owner come on board and Keith Rhodes at the helm, we began re-working the entire brand.

The mark is based off of a treble hook incorporating the "tri" in the name and the water was inspired by old heraldic Fountain symbol, keeping true to the boating and fishing lifestyles that Tri-State Marine sells.
